Check exterior for mail or packages
Test doorbell
Confirm alarm is set and operating
Confirm all exterior doors are locked and secured
Inspect interior walls and ceilings for moisture and water intrusion
Inspect windows, skylights, and frames for water intrusion and wood rot
Inspect floors at exterior doors for moisture, water intrusion, and wood rot
Inspect for insect and rodent infestations/droppings or other animal intrusions
HVAC – Check temperature setting, reading, and humidity
Test ceiling fans and lights
Check breaker box for tripped breakers or other noticeable issues
Test faucets
Test garbage disposal
Confirm refrigerator/freezer are operating properly
Confirm ice maker is off and empty
Flush toilets and inspect for signs of running toilets
Confirm exhaust fan is operating properly
Run water in showers and bathtubs
Confirm garage doors are operating properly
Check screens for signs of damage or tampering
Inspect pool water level and clarity
General inspection of exterior and furnishings
